You can't build a Signature Brand if you're using AI wrong.
π I said that to a friend this week, and she told me to lean on it. So I'm leaning all the way in.
We were Voxering about the AI brand workshops I'm pitching, and she wanted to know if I still do brand stuff, or if it's all robots now.
The short answer: I'm still the architect of Signature Brands. I find what's brilliant about your business and bottle it into a brand people remember.
AI is simply where I see brands losing what makes them memorable the fastest right now.
I like the tech stuff. I love what I've been able to build with AI.
That's exactly why it's become a pet peeve of mine to watch people use it to water their brands down to vodka: smooth, neutral, and easy to mix with anything. It might work for your drink, but it's bad news bears for your brand.
There are brands I've admired that I now open and wonder, do you even have a Signature Brand anymore?
I love the person, and what they offer is great. But if their latest email landed in my inbox from a stranger, with no name or reputation attached, I'd probably delete and move on with my day.
A Signature Brand gives a stranger something unmistakable to remember you by. Generic gives them a reason to hit delete.
I won't name names. If you've ever deleted a newsletter you used to open first, you already have one in mind.
AI defaults to the house pour when there's no recipe to use. Borrow a prompt that worked for someone else, and you get their drink with your label on it. Keep that up for a few months and your brand starts tasting like everyone else's, and you're the last one to notice.
The good news is you can keep using AI and stay at full proof, bold and unmistakably you. You just need a recipe to hand them first.
I'll write your Signature Brand recipe. You decide who's behind the bar.
AI is one bartender. You're another, every time you sit down to write a sales page or an email. So is the copywriter you finally hire.
I uncover what makes you stand out and bottle it into a full brand playbook, and hand you the tools to keep it at proof. Feed it to AI, write from it yourself, or hand it to a copywriter and skip the rounds of "that doesn't sound like me."
I have two Edit spots open in October, because two is what I can give my full attention to. β
Cheers, Kristin β P.S. Once those two October spots are filled, I'm closed for the month. If that bold line up top made you wince a little, grab one here.

THE BIG MOVE
Poured straight from this monthβs theme.
Claim your unique observations as industry insights.
Mine told me to stop hedging my own observations into something any peer could say. A friend told me almost the same thing this week, about one specific line, and said to lean on it instead of softening it. Apparently my dashboard and my Voxer messages agree on what I keep underselling.
β¨ Collab & Connect Summitβ Five days, 50+ speakers, and one talk from me on the difference between an audience you borrow and one you actually keep. The Collab & Connect Summit is free and virtual, hosted by Sharee Collier and Nadalie Bardo, with my session live on Day 3. π Grab your free ticket here.β
β¨ Her AI Era Summitβ There's a lot of AI noise out there right now, but this will help. Her AI Era Summit cut its speaker lineup nearly in half this year, choosing quality over quantity so you can really binge what you need. It's live October 12th through the 16th, and if you want the real lowdown on how AI can actually help your business, this is a great one to attend. π Register here.β
β¨ Flying Solo for a Few Weeksβ My other half is overseas on a last-minute work trip, so it's a few weeks of just me and Cider holding down the house. I've spent most of it heads-down on my Q4 plan: building a real strategy for introducing myself to new audiences and playing a straight numbers game on the asks I'm sending out. Cider's job this month is supposed to be getting tired enough that I can actually sit still and work, and he is absolutely slacking on it.
β¨Pull up a seat. Itβs time to pour your signature brand.β¨
π₯ Cheers to a Transparent Brand
