🍾 Monthly Playbook for September

Reader,

I follow recipes loosely. Basically, I measure with my heart.

My husband Brian hates this. Here are three real conversations from last month:

Brian: How long does the rice cook for?
Me: Um, it's usually just ready when I'm ready for it.
Brian: How long are the cookies in for?
Me: I don't know... I set a timer for 15 mins but check them in like 7 mins?
Brian: How much lemon juice?
Me: eh, just use the whole lemon, I guess.

The kitchen can survive my vibes-based measurement system.

My business gets actual tools.

There’s a tool for almost every part of marketing now. Scheduling the post, editing the Reel, designing the sales page, sending the email, etc

Those tools all come in after the brand decisions have already been made.

Which offer fits the business you’re building? Which collaboration puts you in front of the right people? Which ideas deserve to become part of what you’re known for? What should your content sound like when it comes from you? Which opportunity gets a yes, and which one sends you wandering three neighborhoods away from your actual brand?

Those are brand decisions first.

And that’s where I wanted a better tool.

So I built the Signature Brand Playbook to give you something you can actually run those decisions through.

Inside it:

🔸 Your Signature Three: the credibility line, personality descriptor, and title that everything else gets measured against.

🔸 Your “Only I” statement: the test for whether an idea actually belongs to your brand or got picked up somewhere along the way.

☝️
Mine asks whether this feels like the architect of Signature Brands or whether I'm hiding behind the bar phoning it in.

🔸 A check for each Signature Brand pillar: what your credibility, personality, and expression look like when they’re working together, plus the signs that one is starting to slip.

🔸 Your filter questions: the ones you run an offer, collaboration, content idea, or opportunity through before it earns a place in the business.

The point is to make your brand useful in the moments when you’re actually making decisions.

That’s what the Signature Brand Edit produces.

I go deep on you before we meet. Then we spend a focused half day identifying what makes your brand signature and turning it into a Playbook you can keep using long after our session ends.

So the next time an offer idea, collaboration, content plan, or shiny new opportunity lands in front of you, you have something stronger than “eh, this seems right.”

You have your brand.

THE BIG MOVE
Poured straight from this month’s theme.
Pick the one name that has to stick, and put it everywhere.
SEPTEMBER THEME · BRAND MEMORABILITY →
Mine flagged that I've named a lot of things and no single one of them shows up in every place a stranger meets me. So September is picking the one that has to land, and letting everything else be garnish.

This Month's Vibe Check✨

✨ Something New Behind the Bar
I'm building a Signature Spec Sheet. You give it one link (your website, linkedin or IG profile, it reads what you've actually published there, and it hands back your best sentence, the message you keep repeating and your Signature voice written as rules you can paste straight into AI. Coming soon!

✨ What's Wearing You Out?

I've found that what makes marketing your business a slog is usually the brand foundations underneath it. So I'd love to hear from you. What part of marketing exhausts you? Big or small, hit reply and let me know. I'll try to solve them in upcoming YouTube videos.

✨ I've Run Out of Court Cases
I have been deep in courtroom content lately. The Love Trapped podcast (soo good), the Lindsay Clancy trial (hoping this leads to changes in the medical field, at least), and Death of the Pastor's Wife on Netflix (the grooming - wow). And once the jury comes back this week I'll have hit the end of the good stuff, so send me your recs to fill the void (podcast, shows, books, etc)

✨Pull up a seat. It’s time to pour your signature brand.✨

🥂 Cheers to a
